Becky and Scott's Arizona Engagement
Love is like travel, you experience hiccups but the sights and exhilarating experiences make it all worth it. Scott and I got engaged during a trip to Arizona. It was a mini road trip. We started in Phoenix and traveled through the desert through the glowing rocks of Sedona and then the pine-filled roads of Flagstaff - over to the most gorgeous sunset near an abandoned red rock village from years ago. As it turned dark, we saw lightning brighten the road before us, exposing a stunning valley. We made it to the North Rim late at night. Somehow we woke up the next morning to watch the sunrise. As I was watching the most gorgeous sight - my best friend asked me to marry him. It was magical. I'll never forget how special I felt that morning. No matter the ups and downs every relationship faces, moments like these truly make it all worth it. I added some photos from our engagement photos in Little Compton, RI in this post, too.
